Old Heating Pad 2019

Tried it out last night and are overall pleased. The pad didn’t get very warm quickly, Certainly not “Heats up in seconds” as advertised. But after a 3-4 minutes on High it felt fairly warm and I believe will do the job.The Micromink cover is really nice—far superior to our old heating pad. I like that it’s not just a cover but part of the pad itself.The storage bag is a great feature, and one of the main reasons I chose this pad above others. Before this we were using a large Ziplock bag to store the old heating pad.The other main reason I chose this product is the simple three-setting control with simple buttons. Other products had LED displays, up to 6-8 settings, and would have required I find my glasses each time I wanted to use it. The Paramed heating pad is simple and easy to use.

Not at all like the trash you buy at Wal-Mart or Rite Aid. A heating pad is the #1 go to for cramps, pulled mussels, etc. Honest to God, never thought i would have to write a review for a heating pad. It's a very simple and almost archaic device. Yet, time after time companies can not master creating one that works and can last. After our last one died, after 2 days of use (20 min intervals at a time a few times) decided to try this one. Long story short. It works. It works exactly as a heating pad should and has a nice cover. Thank you for making a product that does exactly what is exepected of it. Store bought ones have failed me time and time again.

I bought the Paramed blanket after seeing my coworkers all snugly at work in the chilly D.C. office and I thought it was a querk until my friend told me to borrow it for a bit. I loved it! The loved the warmth and I loved the softness. Since I got mine, I keep it close next to my bed and hug it for a while to feel warm and I used it when I had a chest/ shoulder muscle soreness and within about 15-20 mins I felt much better actually.I'm happy with purchase and would totally recommend it as a product to fall in love with or as a very thoughtful gift.Note: Does not take long to hear up at all, and low is already enough for me personally.

I get really bad leg cramps, and heat helps relax the muscles when I get one. I have this plugged in next to my bed so I can turn it on and use it when I get a leg cramp. This heating pad is super soft and it warms up really quick. Im glad the heating pad does not come with a removable cover because those usually have plastic under the cover. I especially like the size of this heating pad. I wrap it around my leg when I have a cramp because usually the cramp affects the calf muscle, the muscle on the front of my leg and my feet and toes all at the same time.

I love my new heating pad. It has a nice cozy build in cover. I have yet to use the high level because it gets quite warm on the medium level. When I think I might fall asleep, then I click to the lowest level. So far I haven't had any problems. I also love the fact that it's 24 inches in length and that covers the back quite nicely. I have use it for six nights now because I just got it six days ago. My back is feeling so much better. I really have been pleased with the product and the price. You will love it too. Oh yes, it also arrived so fast.

I just received my heating pad today and I absolutely love the size of it. The material is so soft and comfortable to lay on. I’ve had serious back pain for 2 weeks now and I love how I can leave it on for 2 hrs overnight without worrying about it being on all night due to the auto shut off. I only wished that the highest level for the heat setting was a bit hotter, otherwise it’s great !

I use this heating pad all the time. It's bigger than the one your grandmother had, and wraps around your back or shoulders just enough. I even use it to heat up the foot of my bed on cold nights. Love that it has 3 heat settings and turns off automatically after 2 hours (or at least, I think it's 2 - I'm usually asleep by then!).

The Paramed heating pad is a generous size, approximately one by two feet. The cover is a comfortable plush fur-like material. It heats quickly but doesn't get too hot. Still, I would not use it for someone with diminished capacity. The user must be able to feel its effects and control its use.I was a bit surprised to find that it doesn't automatically switch off after some fixed time. If I had a tendency to go to sleep when using it, that might be a concern. As it is, it's perfect for soothing my sore knee.

I would give it this rating because it is what it was explained to be and all my expectations have been met. It works like stated, staying on for two hours and then automatically turning off. The heat is a good temperature, maybe could have been a bit higher on hottest setting but it works great for my needs. It appears to be made well with good material. The fabric is soft and there are no uncomfortable pieces or poorly designed parts that I have discovered as of yet. I think it is a fair price for what I recieved.**** I did receive a note that asked for a review of the product and I would receive a free digital thermometer. The review is honest and upfront but I might not have been as fast on the review without the insensitive as a digital thermometer would be useful these days. After reviewing the product the company was great and responded fast but did not send the gift described as on the card it says based on availability. Instead of a digital thermometer I was sent medical penlights with pupil gauge which in terms of useful, for an average home, I would guess is not as useful.

This is an update to my original review written in February 2020.2nd review:In early December I received an email asking me about the purchase of a product I made in early 2020. It said it was following up on a review I had written, they were reaching out to “make it right” and requested hone address so that a new heating pad could be sent to me. I was leary at first but upon scrutiny of the message, the sender and by comparing it with past purchasing info on my Amazon account everything seemed to line up - despite the 10 month lag of the company’s response time. Lo and behold, I provided my address and 4-5 days later I received my new heating pad. Much to my surprise, the heating pad functioned quite well, leading me to believe I must have received a lemon the first time around. Fir thus reason I am raising my review score to a 3. The follow up was appreciated but it was about 9 months later than it should have been. You can see my original review below for which I rated the product 1/5 as it was the lowest rating I could give.1st review:What a disappointment. This heating pad does. not. heat.You would be better off popping a thick towel in your dryer for 5 minutes - it will likely be hotter than this heating pad can get.The phrase “you get what you pay for” rings loud and clear with this product.

What I don’t like about sharkweek is that my wife gets cranky due to dysmenorrhea. It’s either the hot water bottle or feel the wrath of a cranky wife. This is a life saver, buy this and on top of hot cocoa chocolates or her cravings, you’ll soothe out the pain with this everlasting (well as long as it on) warmth of this heating pad. Unlike water bottle of course you wont need to replace the water and you’d have a complete control on the settings. It’s large enough for everything, for scale see the picture with a 7-in firetabSay goodbye to the gloom and doom of sharkweek, make your life a bit easier and buy your wife or girlfriend this heating pad

Came within the time limit that was stated, gets hot in a little as 10-30 seconds where you can feel the warmth. Very good size, I like how big it is. It is very nice and soft even the carrying bag feels nice.I have a kidney stone and read that heat helps, and sure enough with how large the heating pad is it covers a nice size area and does seem to help with the pain (though it wasn't the only reason I bought it).Was worth the $20 that I paid for this.

I have been pleasantly surprised with this heating pad! It was bigger than I had calculated in my head (but then I'm bad at math) and can cover from my tailbone to my shoulder blades quite easily (I'm pretty smol though). It heats up very quickly, and maintains the temperature for as long as you keep it on. I haven't had it overheat on me at all, even when I have it behind me between my back and a pillow.The cord is an excellent length, and although maneuvering it around can take a bit of thought (since it attaches to one corner), it doesn't hamper the use of the pad.I think my only "complaint" is that I have to use the highest setting to get into my super tight muscles - the low and medium heats are still good, but don't quite cut it for my personal needs. That being said, the high setting DOES work even with super tight muscles, so I still recommend it.As a side note, it also makes a lovely cat bed at the lower settings, as my 3 cats jockey each other to lay on it when I have it off but laying on the bed!
