We were looking for something light weight an quick to segregate our dog from other rooms once in a while. I like that this easily folds and can be stored behind something when not in use and it can quickly be set up when needed. We have a 45lb dog and this works for him as he will not try to move the gate or push it over. If your pet is the type to try push their way around things this will not work for you as it would be easily tipped or moved by a pet.

Even after reading the reviews, I continued to buy two of these pet gates. They are perfect height and length to keep my Great Dane out of certain areas of the house. Unfortunately, both gates have broken within two months of purchase. Thank goodness for Gorilla Glue-the gates are holding better then before.

This has been great. Keeps my dogs out of the kitchen. My cat on the other hand, tried to squeeze through immediately and broke one of the spindles. Now he can get through and doggies still can't ha. Perfect for me. Good quality and good size!

Very poor construction. Within the first week of use it was falling apart at the corner joints. I had to buy reinforcing brackets at the hardware store to keep it from falling apart further. Now, the vertical rods are breaking. Given that this cost over $40, I would have expected better quality. Overall, a waste of money. I would not recommend purchase.

This gate is attractive and sturdy. However, it took about 2 days for out dogs to figure out how to move it (and not knock it down) so they could go into the other room.

Worst product ever.My puppy chewed clean through the bars.That was after day one where she squeezed through the bars.I can't believe animal planet would put their name on this highly defective product.Incredibly disappointed.

Sadly, after the first week, the hinge broke...not so sturdy as I had hoped.
