Makes Sous vide cooking even easier!
I have a habit of not reviewing my items till months or a year later to ensure that my opinion stays the same as when I first received the product. This is what happened with the Sous Vide container I purchased last year. It works just as well today as it did the day I bought it. The EVERIE 12 Quart Sous Vide Container made a significant difference in my cooking experience! This container has quickly become my go-to choice for sous vide cooking, and for good reason.First and foremost, the collapsible hinge lid is a game-changer. It's incredibly convenient, allowing me to easily access my food during cooking without having to remove the entire lid. This not only saves time but also helps to retain heat and moisture, resulting in perfectly cooked meals every time. I also find it so valuable when I am cooking a piece of meat for 24hrs in the sous vide container as the lid helps me retain the cooking water the entire time with little to no need to refill the water as the hours of cooking tick on.The included rack is another standout feature of this kit. It keeps food pouches organized and submerged in the water bath, ensuring even cooking throughout. Plus, its compatibility with Anova and Instant Pot cookers makes it incredibly versatile and convenient for home chefs like myself.I also appreciate the insulation sleeve that comes with the container. It helps to maintain a consistent temperature during long cooking sessions and provides an added layer of protection against heat loss, further enhancing the precision and efficiency of the sous vide cooking process. The quality of the materials used in this kit is exceptional, and it's clear that EVERIE has prioritized both durability and functionality in their design. The container is sturdy and well-made, and the collapsible hinge lid is both practical and easy to use.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the EVERIE 12 Quart Sous Vide Container. It has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and convenience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their sous vide cooking game.

Great Sous Vide Container!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this because my original container is huge...great for large cooks but my wife hates it being on the counter. This is small and perfect for daily use. The insulation cover is great for obvious reasons but also is attractive. Lastly the small rack is perfect for daily serving size cooks.

Works with Ambiano (Aldi's) immersion cooker.
All these type containers feel overpriced for what they are, but this one is definitely more reasonably priced than some, and has the nifty rack for spacing out the food items.I have an Ambiano immersion cooker, which I bought at Aldi, and the hole in the lid just allows it to fit. The clamp works to secure the cooker to the side of the container, with just a slight tilt back as it aligns itself to the slant of the container wall.I have a touch of skepticism about how long the bendy hinge will last, but only time will tell.I really prefer using this clear container to my usual metal stewpot, because the rack allows precise securing of the bags, and the plastic basin loses less heat than the steel pot. I cooked a chuck roast for 24 hours at 131 degrees Fahrenheit and the outside of the container never got too hot to touch. The lid fits pretty well and should prevent evaporation on long cooks. The metal rack comes with 5 inserts that lock in securely to rows of slots on the bottom of the rack. Once all bags are in place a single bar clips across the top to keep the bags from rising up and out of the rack. When you are cooking multiple items, they can bunch up if they aren't secured, and this rack addresses that problem. One thing to know is that the rack doesn't fit all the way down if it is turned 90 degrees inside the container.I waited a while before investing in this unit and I'm pretty happy with my choice.

Solid sous vide container.
Jumped into the world of sous vide this year and have purchased two of these. One for ourselves and one for a family member. Not exactly sure how you could go wrong with one of these, but for what we needed this was great. Appreciate the hinged lid that allows you to easily add packages without messing with the sous vide water heater itself. It is not a water tight lid so you can get some residual splashing of water, especially when there’s a lot of condensation on the lid but nothing that’s some paper towels can’t solveFor the money. This is a great little addition highly recommend.

so much easier and better than trying to sous vide in a stock pot.
I got a sous vide for christmas and struggled using it with a big kitchen stock pot because the food bags would get piled up in the swirling water and either block the flow around each other or block the flow of water into the sous vide. I just used this for the first time with some pork cops and they turned out to be the best chops I've ever made. super juicy and perfectly done, with no fuss about trying to block off the sous vide from the bags. I was able to put 2 chops in a bag and put them into the rack allowing me to cool 10 pork chops at once. Plenty for a few meals. this was the perfect product for my needs.

First version Anova's are too big for this
My rating may feel a little unfair, but I've had an Anova awhile and didn't want to replace it, so I'm living with the problem. The lid hole is just a little small, I can't get it around the circulator. Now, everything else is great. Container has a nice insulated sleeve, didn't leak, holds the heat well, steam doesn't go everywhere, evaporation is good. This is a MUCH better answer than the vendor-specific $100 answers. In my case, the circulator slot is just too small for my specific circulator. But I kept it anyway and just prop the back half up onto the holding arm for the circulator.
