I've had this up for a few days and I have to say that I adore it. No peeling. No trouble putting it on. The key to successfully applying this sticker onto a wall is technique and having the right tool; go on YouTube and type in "How to Apply Wall Map Sticker/Decal". You need to be patient when applying it, but after taking the time out to put it up, it looks nice. To those who say that it's difficult to remove, use a hairdryer to heat the sticker. The heat will make it easy to peel off (according to the same guy who created the video on how to properly apply it.) My only complaint is that there are a few inaccuracies in the map, but overall, it looks great.

Product arrived well before the estimated shipping date with no bends or bumps in the poster. I was worried about the application process, but it stuck to the wall with no problems and they're weren't even any air bubbles to relieve. I had it on the wall in less than ten minutes. Looks great, but I would suggest getting a larger size than you intent to buy. I measured my wall prior to ordering, but the islands add on more to the dimensions than I thought, so it looks a little small in my living room.

My thought upon purchasing: "I'm a little worried - I'm only paying $13.95 for this world map. Well, if it looks like crap, I'm not out too much money." The package arrived. I thought, "hmm... seems a little small but ok I guess."And THEN I put it on my wall. Holy crap, it looks amazing!!! Way, way better than I thought it would look. The width is perfect (it's over my queen sized bed) and the black pops perfectly on my yellow/gold wall. SO glad I bought this - it's not 100% accurate (so I guess don't use it for teaching geography??) but it's certainly close enough and it repositions easily if you need to adjust it.

This map looks pretty amazing on our wall--I just keep looking at it when I am sitting in the room. It has been up 2 days and so far it is staying on great, no hint of peeling as some others described. I will update if that changes. Buyers should be aware that it is not one large sheet, it is many, many little pieces, and some of the bigger pieces are attached in weird ways--my husband wound up cutting some of the larger pieces to manage them easier but you can't really tell he cut it now that it's on the wall. He took the advice in one of the other reviews to project an image up on the wall to know where everything goes. It was quite tedious and he is a perfectionist so it took a couple hours, but I didn't find anything else that I think will look this good, and you can't beat the price. We plan to add travel pics around it. I would have given it 5 stars if hanging it had been easier.

I've never had a wall decal before, but I've heard all sorts of nightmares about how they don't stick or how they are impossible to assemble, etc. I just received my decal (ordered about a couple days ago), and although it didn't come with any instructions, it was probably one of the easiest things I've done. It comes rolled up, sandwiched between 2 papers. I simply removed one sheet, visualized where I wanted to put it, and simply smoothed it out on to my wall starting from the center and going outwards. There are no bubbles or wrinkles (despite the paper coming all rolled up), and the one little region that I messed up a bit was very easy to fix.I'll definitely be buying more!

This was easy to install and just the right size to fit behind my desk so that people on Zoom call could see the whole world. I've received many positive comments. Get's people thinking globally.

This decal will not stick to my walls at all. It's easy enough to apply and I really like the look of it, just wish I could actually use it but it just won't stick to the wall. I put it up, went downstairs to have dinner and returned about 45 minutes later and it was peeling. I tried scraping/smoothing with a board book (it's in my son's nursery) and it looked good again. But sure enough 30 minutes later peeling like crazy. Im super disappointed but I'm going to have to unfortunately scrap this and find something else. If it stuck it would look really nice but with the peeling everywhere it just looks terrible plus it's a hazard having the little islands falling off the wall for my baby to find and potentially ingest or choke on.

Got this to display in my classroom. Very good quality for the price. As others mentioned, this is definitely a two person job, but it only took us ten minutes. We used a metal credit card as a squeegee and found no need to cut it. Good buy!
