Very good for the price.
I love it all! I was impressed with how it was packed and delivered. And when I put them together and turned it on, it worked well and the specs are the same with the description. One thing that bothered me was the cooling fan. It was too noisy, so I reduced cooling performance to 75% and it has no problem of the PC's performance. Now, my hope is that it will last at least couple years. Plus, I just want to say "thanks" to the seller for a reasonable price and reasonable quality.

Great Computer and Customer Service!
I had my reservations about buying a refurbished product but this computer bundle is Fantastic! Easy set up, fast browsing, and a all around great computer.I did have an issue with receiving my package at the fault of Fed Ex. However, both the Amazon and Blair Technology customer service was impeccable (depsite me being downright rude if I'm being honest.) Blair Technology even communicated with me via email over the weekend despite their office being closed! Top notch customer service. After finally tracking down my package I can honestly say this is my favorite computer I've ever purchased, and at an amazing price!Thank you both Amazon and Blair Technology.

Loud noise not what I expected defective item had sent back.back.
Had to send back because the computer wasn't working right it had loud noise coming from it when it cut on it it would say something about the computer fan the screen would go black and it'll give give instructions to press F1 or F2 to either fix the problem or go to main screen. I couldn't factory reset it to see if that will help the issues and didn't try to fix it on my own because I don't understand computer language and didn't want to mess nothing up. I did call customer service the person I spoke to either hung up on me or the call got disconnected just to let them know i was returning the computer and the reasons why then I tried to call back left another message and no one never called back I just dropped it off at a ups access point lication yesterday hopefully im praying because the sotuations i been having out the blue that itll be no more issues. The computer was way bigger then the first one I ordered and it looked diffrent I was expecting to recieve the same size computer that looked exactly like the one I had and the same size of the one I had. It did have all the same functions as the other one I had but this recent computer took up too much space witch I didn't like and the computer was defective and not working properly so the five stars will remain for the very first time I ordered this computer because it was perfect I loved it the style and size of it I was free and able to factory reset if I had to without a problem if I needed to it saved me space and it was no issues with it. I dropped it down to a one because I had to get a new one and the new one that came didn't meet my expecting of the first one and the motor or fan was to Loud and bothersome and the fact it was a defective computer despite it being able to work and the cost of it wasn't worth the 200 something I spent to get the first one was better and lasted me some years no problems no issues till I moved and had to replace it.

10 year old's first computer
Great for my sons first computer. I don't spend thousands on electronics for my kids until they prove they are responsible enough to care for it properly. My 10 yr old wanted a gaming laptop and was going to pay for half out of his money. I made him search for weeks online to find what he wanted. He picked a $800 laptop that lite up and had 4GB ram, and 1/2 a gig memory. I sat down with him and talked to him about processing power and we started looking at desktops because it was unlikely he would be using it anywhere but home anyway. This computer was perfect, 4 times the RAM and memory, and I bought him a lighted keyboard and mouse to put with it. AND LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE!!!! He learned a great lesson to shop for the right item, finding savings and got a great powerful computer. The computer may have a few scratches and obviously retro fitted for WIFI with a plug in Wireless Wifi Adapter but it has what matters on the inside. Power and storage for gaming and he was able to keep most of his money in his savings. I am kind of jealous, it puts my laptop to shame.

Worth the money, Upgradable.
The Optiflex 790 is what I recieved with the same specs as the 990 due to being refurbished the cases may have been switcheds, not sure. I looked into gaming with hte computer and found it requires a graphics card update (the refurbished computers donot include a graphics card). The gards for gaming to get you started cost about $150 and up depending on your funds. I bought a card for designing (Quatro card) and I can game at fairly decent FPS.Overall hte computer is a sutible computer, and yes if your wondering you can game very well depending on your graphics card choice. Have a great day and happy gaming or developing.

You STILL get what you pay for...
That old adage is so true - You get what you pay for.Well, I got the deal I paid for. My new "Renewed" DELL Optiplex 990 desktop computer does work. It works as well as expected to work for the price I paid. So although what I received leaves little to be excited about, I can say - "It does work as Amazon said this "Renewed" computer and monitor would". Let me put it this way - Somebody went dumpster diving at an office/business. The DELL computer CPU is old, like circa 2000. It is so old, Bluetooth had not been created yet. So it came with a Bluetooth flash drive to insert into one of the USB port. I have 3 different speakers of my own, NONE of them work in this computer. Luckily, I planned on using a dual monitors, so my own monitor has a speaker on it that works well. Speaking of monitors, I don't know who was working quality control, but I have no idea why they could not see that the monitor they included was hazy. There is no way to improve the visual acuity of this monitor. Honestly, had I not desperately needed a computer to start my new Work at Home job, I would have sent it back to Amazon Renew. I have a 90 day return agreement if not satisfied, and I am still considering it, but I would miss precious work time and possible job loss in the time it would take to pack it up and then drop it off to UPS. Buyer beware.
