Perfect when prepping meals
It is a slick plastic that cleans in a snap. It has a large capacity, so that I can usually prep an entire meal without needing to empty it. It is oval, not round so that I can get close enough to the counter to prep comfortably; some of the other bins on the market are more round which would make it awkward to stand close enough to the counter to feel comfortable. It hangs on the drawer and is just right to just wipe any bits right into it off of my cutting board. I love not having to stand over my waste can to peel veggies, etc or make countless trips to the waste can. It is great. Wish I had known about this sooner. It comes in a two pack.

Works quite well
I wanted some sort of a cup to throw my debris into. Sometimes I would use a paper plate or a bowl, but they all took up space on my counter. So I decided to look on line, and I found these that hang on my kitchen cabinet. My 1980s oak cabinet drawers are too thick to hang these bowls on. These bowls work great for me they are right there by my side, they are large enough to handle all my meal prep debris, they are very smooth and really easy to clean. They make my meal prep just that much easier. And yes I would definitely buy another and probably will for my three boys.

Simply perfect.
Such a simple, handy thing. I put them on my drawer &/or cupboard and just scrape my scraps from counter into the bin. No bags to open, covers to lift... simply simple.

Sturdy, useful and attractive
I really like these for kitchen scraps, waste right where you’re cooking. I can quickly toss in eggshells, peels and such instead of making the trip to the trash every time. Mind you they are not large but really sturdy. When I am done I dump it in the trash wipe it out and good to go. Not bad at all. I am sure there many other useful uses for these little baskets.

Nice fit
I had ordered one previously and it didn't fit on my drawer/cabinet. This fits nicely and I don't feel like it will damage the wood.

Why did it take so long to find this?
What a great idea! I have a very small kitchen and am also handicap. I no longer need to keep a container for waste on the counter taking up valuable room. Slide waste from cutting board right into the container (and not dropping waste to the floor during transfer), gives me a place to drop hot paper towels used to clean oil etc. from cook ware, as well as a place to deposit utensils as I no longer need them. Then I just take unit to the sink and garbage can. This item then helps free up space on the counter and helps keep counter top clean as work progresses and prevents dropping waste to the floor when moving it off the cutting board. had some concerns that the handle on the draw of the cabinet might prevent me from using it. the are and old style and protrude out quite a bit! No problem. It fits fine. I find it so handy I am giving them to other as a useful Christmas gift.

Makes meal prep easier
Love using these when I'm doing a lot of veggie/fruit prep...peeling peaches or carrots, cutting tops off strawberries, etc. I find we snack on fruit and veggies more if they are ready-to-eat and these little tubs hook on the top of the drawer in my island so I can just scrape all the peels in as I go and dump in the trash at the end. Then I just toss in the dishwasher ready for next time. I really only use one of these, the other one holds all my pot lids in the cabinet :).

needs a bigger lip
great idea, especially when chopping multiple items but the lip was to small to stay sturdy enough in the drawer. I do still use them when wiping everything down in the kitchen but have to be very careful when setting them properly in the drawer because it has, with the slightest touch, been knocked on the floor
