Great fun identifying colors, numbers on coins, amd making animal sounds from the pictures on the coins. I use this kn circle time or large group time for preschool. We use it as the final activity and transition acitivity and put in the coins before moving on.

Great toy I love this toy. Great for kids learning educational purposes fun my kids still have them. Also they use them for other things but they’re great for learning. Come with a little coins and you pop a man learn as you play.

Cute gift for my then one year old, and grew with her. I like the pig for developing several skills. The sound quality is good and clear for repetition of numbers 1-10. The coins allow for practicing color, animals (which a parent can follow with animal sounds), and the numbers. I love that this toy was easy for her to open the door, and she was able to develop fine motor and visual motor skills through pushing coins in, graduating to aligning and placing coins in the slot without support, and then to number practice. This has far exceeded the value, as it has last through three kiddos and we have never had to change batteries.

This pig has everything babies love and is jam-packed with learning features too. Little ones love cause and effect and love putting the coins into the slot. I was shocked that my 12 month old could do it right away. I imagine with younger babies you’d need to guide their hands. After that the pig counts as the coins clink into the tummy. Because the tummy has a clear door, the baby can also see the coins dropping inside. Then the baby opens up the pig, spills out the coins and starts all over... again... and again... and again. The coins are numbered on one side and have an animal on the other, and you get 2 of each color/animal. Good for matching and learning animals, colors, and numbers 1-10. Also, if you press the pig’s noise he oinks or sings. The pig has 2 learning modes (as all FP smart stages toys do), and the second mode is more advanced with commands, as well as colors and numbers in Spanish. You see this pig around daycares, preschools, doctor’s offices, etc. It’s becoming a “classic” baby toy. And it’s no wonder, kids absolutely love it. Even my 4 year old wants to play with it. And because of the smart stages, there really is something for her to learn through playing with it too! (The Spanish words and reinforcing her number identification). It’s also good for learning to take turns - each child gets 5 coins, one of each color and they take turns putting in one coin as a time. So far, no squabbles over the pig. It’s a good toy for cooperative play.

Such a cute design and sounds and songs are sweet. Comes with good amount of coins. Well made, fair price and doesn't take up much room. Kept toddler busy. Lots of ways to play and teach, counting and colors and hand eye coordination.

This is a great toy; my two year old plays with it every day. The different learning stages provide different challenges for her to work through, and the interactive nature of the stages is a great learning tool for counting, color matching, and learning in/out and open/close. The pig's nose interacts as well which has helped them to learn nose as a body part and work on learning excuse me because the pig has a sneeze when you push the nose. The coins work well for practicing color matching, counting and sorting, and working on identifying numbers and animals, as one side of each coin has a number or animal. The coins are thick and hard plastic, which makes them durable for someone like me with a toddler that chews or mouths on toys. There are so many fun learning activities with this durable and cute toy.

The Baby Piggy Bank Toy has proven to be a fantastic addition to our baby's playtime routine. The standout feature of this toy is the activity of picking up coins and inserting them into the piggy bank. While this initially presented a challenge for my little one, it quickly became apparent that the difficulty level was intentional and beneficial for fine motor skill development. The process of aligning the coin with the slot and successfully depositing it into the piggy bank required concentration and precision.

My little guy loves this pig. They put the coin in and then open the side and take them out. It’s small so they can carry around and very easy to use!
