Countersink Drill Bit Set 7 Pack 1/4'' Hex Shank and 90 Degree HSS 5 Flute Drill for Woodworking Drilling

These countersink bits are okay for light use around the house. That’s exactly what I wanted, so I’m happy with my purchase. However, if you are looking for a set that would standup to more strenuous use I believe this set just wouldn’t be acceptable.

Not that bad of a product for the price, I've used them a couple times now and I can't really complain. I would say that you cannot use them on a high speed drill. They wear down fast.

The bits do not look like the bright brass in the photos. They are tarnished and look worn. The size numbers that are stamped on the sides are so worn or light that they are just barely visible. You need a bright light and a magnifying glass to read the sizes. The bits sort of work on soft wood, but they are dull. There is no plastic case. The cheapo zip lock inner and outer plastic bags that they come in were extremely beat up, as if they had seen heavy use for several years. I believe that a better set can be had for only a few more dollars.

Good size selection, but the overall quality is middle of the road. Perfect for a homeowner, but if you are a pro/contractor skip these.

I received my order quickly but the counter sink bits I received are not very sharp and the sharpened edge is not consistent on each flute. They work but the cuts are rough. I already ordered some better bits.

Thw two largest sizes seem a little dull, but the rest are as pictured Overall seem adequate

These countersinks were as advertised. I was working on a small but urgent project, and at each step I discovered I didn't have the right tool. This was the last thing I needed, and was gratified not only that it worked perfectly but that it arrived faster than promised.

I got this set for the same cost as 1 similar bit that I have and would say it is better quality overall. I used them with a hydraulic impact driver, which can eat bits pretty quick, and they have held up.
