I have 2 "Teddy Bear" dogs (shitzu bichon mix). I was pleased to hear about this book & purchased it right away. It was really a disappointment & didn't offer any information that couldn't already be found online. Felt like a cut & paste of dog basics.

To learn the breed before purchasing

One of the dumbest, most poorly written, un-informative books I've ever read. Looks like a cut and paste job from other sources (some inaccurate). Absolutely nothing I haven't already gotten from a quick google search. Don't waste your time or money on this dreck.

Far from a complete. Not much info and not very detailed.

Most of information in book can be obtained on the Internet. Unfortunately, I did not find the book very informative.

Very informative about Teddy Bear puppies!

This is a great resource for anyone considering buying a teddy bear puppy. The author provides helpful tips and information on buying, caring for and training your dog. Highly recommend.

My review about it is.This would be the perfect book for someone to buy before getting a Shichon/ Zuchon. I only wished this was available when I had my Shichon. It goes right through all you can expect from this lovely breed and how to manage through each stage. This isn't really a book for someone who had an adult dog. Although even saying that I just want it on my book shelf! It would have been nice had the photos been in colour. Lots of helpful information and a list of helpful websites in the back pages. I would recommend even for a bit of nostalgia for us that have passed through puppy hood.I have a Shichon/Zuchon who is now 2 years old and I would recommend this breed totally.

Really enjoyed reading this book. Good to keep to one side to check information. Also has a very handy care sheet near the back along with useful websites to check out.
