As my daughter says goodbye to her preschool friends, and hello to the new friends of kindergarten, this book is perfect for this transition, and many other important life events. Beautifully illustrated. I would recommend this book to everyone!

Great book for helping kids (and adults!) process the goodbyes and hellos in their lives.

This book brilliantly articulates the concept of change, which is the only permanent thing in life! I don't know how else I could explain these things to a little kid... That sometimes a change that feels uncomfortable can eventually lead to something good (which you might not be able to foresee).My 4 year old was able to grasp the ideas and apply them to his own life. I would recommend this for anyone's library. Even more so, if your child feels challenged by change or has a very hard time saying goodbye to things/people.

My grandson just moved to a new town and new daycare. He loved this book and I really think it helped with the transition.

A wonderful message with delightful illustrations! This book will help kids of all ages deal with and process the emotions of the coming and going of friendships.

We LOVE The Rabbit Listened so bought this one sight unseen. The illustrations are kind of blurry or cheap looking in this one though - not sure if it's a print quality thing or what but wasn't as wowed by it. The story is a little vague too - felt like I was explaining a lot to my 3 year old
