Great little travel didge!
I only chose the light colored version because it was less expensive than the darker version, plus it was in stock for Prime shipping. I received the dark version instead. It looks great. I would have been happy with either one to be honest.I have a couple of didge's of varying sizes, and decided to give this little travel didge a try. I was VERY pleasantly surprised as to how good it sounds! It's very loud, although that could be because my ears are a lot closer to the bell end now, but regardless of why it's nice and loud, with a clear deep drone. Back pressure is good, and I was even able to easily get a nice toot from it as well. The finish is VERY nice, and I can't find the seam for the life of me. The didge is solid, but much lighter than I had anticipated. If you're looking for something small, easy to pack and carry, while still looking and sounding good, then you'll like this little spiral wood travel didge.Would I buy it again? Yes!Would I recommend it to others? Yes!

Great for jamming on the go at affordable price.
Absolutely love this didge. Great sound and awesome back pressure. Very portable and solid piece. Comes with a decent carry bag. Vocal techniques seem more accented However some things to consider about wooden split spiral didgeridoos. They are a solid chunk of wood and therefore has less resonance for deeper undertones. It also is nearly impossible to keep the inside clean. One can pour it out but not sure how exactly to properly clean them, the shape of the tune is rather troublesome...

Great travel didge - surprised at how well it played.
I bought this didge to go on vacation with me. My primary is a custom Burton from Australia, so I wasn't expecting much from this thing. I was really surprised. It had solid backpressure, and was very easy to jam on. The bell is pretty close to your ears, so a lot of the cool noises you make while playing feel much more pronounced than on a normal straight didge (unless you mic it). In terms of quality and how it will hold up, time will tell. There is a seam, so it appears to be 2 pieces of carved wood glued together. This seam has to be the weak spot on the didge. Mine had a sticker saying it was made in Indonesia. I'm very happy with this little thing and will love jamming on it on vacation.

Not Good Sound - Need Straight pipe !
I have other straight instruments of this kind and they work MUCH better. Unfortunately the sound does not travel well in a curled up instrument such as this. To get a real great sound I can find no other way then to go with a straight pipe for the best sound. The sound form this spiral pipe was disappointing and I had to return it.

Great travel didg
I can't really play it very well but it is very fun, well-made and travel friendly. My only concern is if all of the spit collecting inside of it will eventually damage the wood.

so surprised
I didn't think that this style (shape) of didgeridoo would sound all that great. Boy was I proven wrong! Once you get use to its odd shape, which didn't take long for me, you'll find out how great it is. I was more than pleasantly surprised.
