Excellent FPS / single-player campaign
If you are looking for a great FPS single-player campaign, this is pretty much the best out there right now. As others have commented, I would compare it to Rage in its overall quality, but its got a number of specific differences that make it better IMO.Overall gameplay: Obviously its a FPS and only single player campaign. It is more free and much less restrictive than a COD or BF campaign in that you have more freedom to choose where you go, what you do, and how you will play. You can go in guns blazing, or use stealth, or some combo whenever you want. I would not call it open-world compared to games like Rage or BL2 - you're just not that free to roam around or go wherever you want. You can re-play any mission you want. Also, there are not real/significant side missions. There are only a few small ones that can basically be completed during your main mission. I wish they would have had more significant side missions as the storyline could easily support it. There is a lot of stuff to search/hunt for such as treasures, enigma codes, news clippings that add to the background/story etc. If all you want to do is run-n-gun you will miss out on a lot. Its game for people who like to explore every inch of the environment.Gameplay mechanics: Game controls are pretty standard for a FPS, but there are a couple of differences that made it a bit tricky to get used to. Most notably is how you change which weapons you are holding. Fast swap is normal, but to change which weapons you are holding you have to hold RB and then rotate a cursor around a wheel to select a new weapon - it takes a bit of finesse, which can be frustrating in the middle of a firefight.Weapons: There's a good assortment, not as many as COD (which don't differ much anyway). More comparable to Rage. However, there is variability for each. Each weapon you can choose to hold one or two at a time, and most have upgrades: silencer for pistol, rocket launcher for AR, etc. The LKW is a unique electric powered weapon that has about 6 upgrades throughout the game and is indispensable.Story: The storyline is deep, interesting, detailed, and engaging. It also has some good characters - on both sides. I don't want to give any spoilers, but early on you have to make a choice that sets you down 1 of 2 story lines. You can go back and choose to play the other line after you play through. The 2 lines have some small and interesting character differences, but overall the game plays the same - you are not getting 2 different campaigns for the price of 1.When you find all the enigma codes you can unlock new game modes. These are not different campaigns or missions, just different modes like an easier harder level, or unlimited ammo, etc.If you like FPS and single-player campaigns, then this one is worth the money. Given the freedom you have in playing the game. I'd say it has a descent (though not awesome) re-play value.

Old School Wolfy, with New School Tricks.
First of all, WOW. What a surprise! I was expecting a shallow FPS game, along the likes of what Wolfy used to be. And boy, did they throw that impression out of the window about 5 minutes into the game. The developers have done an impressive job at making Wolfenstein 3-dimensional in more ways than just graphical. The story is well-scripted, well-acted and actually draws you in! it has a war film feeling, including the sinking feeling that you get with all war films, when the suspense builds. Will she/he die? Will I get caught? Is everyone dead? I'm exposed and in the open! i need to find cover! The gameplay mechanics are a little old school wolfenstein, you have to pickup health, ammo and power ups manually, and you can carry essentially a small armory with you at all times. The shooting is satisfying, but again a little traditional (and i don't mean 90s traditional, i mean 80s gaming traditional) but that's not such a bad thing. The game includes dual-wielding all weapons, which is unwieldy and actually makes it more difficult to gauge shots (even though the reticle is the still singular, it must be a psychological thing for me), so i kept going back to single gun mode. The game difficulty is satisfying and challenging, provided you don't choose a baby mode. The stealth is well thought out and actually do-able unlike some other games. It makes the times when you sneak up behind a German soldier, and plunge your dagger through his neck all the more satisfying. One small criticism if i had to make one, and it is definitely nitpicking, was that maybe the story (that i praised up above) can get a little over-dramatic and heavy handed. Blaskowicz is a human after all, and he has a heart, something we tend to forget after he violently murders about 4,000 Germans per level. But then the story makes sure to remind us, by showing him with a puss-in-boots lovelorn expression every once in a while, and tears in his eyes. The game looks gorgeous! absolutely gorgeous 10/10. The design is impressive, because it not only built a 1945 era arena in the beginning of the game, but also updated the Third Reich for a scientific future that isn't slapped on. It feels organic and a logical extension. Thank god they were actually defeated in WWII, eh?

Nice FPS for the Xbox One, but very short.
I pre ordered this game after burning out of the other games available for the Xbox One. Since Bethesda was involved in it, I was secretly hoping for a Fallout 3 + Nazi's sort of scenario. Sadly, this is not the case. Wolfenstein is built around linear levels. After beating the game I don't know how to feel about it. I felt like it's a bit short to charge $60 for, but then again it seems like every game generation the games get shorter and shorter. The graphics are beautiful, the voice acting is well done, and the best part is the characters. Each of the characters is really well done. It's a first person shooter, and for the most part it's pretty well done. The perk system is unique and added small challenges to help mix up game play. I wish they would have done more with this system because I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the stealth aspect, but I felt like it was sort of an after thought. The dual wielding is pretty much useless most of the time. The graphic content and such for this game is pretty intense. Definitely not a game for kids at all. This game deals with all sorts of grisly details (concentration camps, torture, maiming, etc) and is definitely not for the squeamish. In the end, I wish it were longer. At $60, I can't recommend it. If you get an opportunity to rent it, borrow it, or pick it up used for $<40, I'd say go for it.

Great game for people who love missions with storyline!
I must confess I have been a Wolfenstein fan since a long long time! And for me, this game has been excellent! I love single player missions. What sucks though is having to aim precisely at a fallen item and then pressing "X" to pick it up. It's very frustrating at times. Should have been as easy as walking over an item to pick it up. But loved the game anyway.

Honestamente, es lo que esperaba, me parece bastante entretenido, y tiene buena historia.Deberían hacer más juegos como éstos hoy día
