I've set up many FTA systems and this FTA receiver may be good, but there are no instructions included. The unit is unlike any I've seen in the configuration and setup - not intuitive as stated in the description. I tried to find YouTube video's - I couldn't find one in English. The included users manual has no information on how to configure each sat. Just not an easy FTA receiver to configure. If the manufacturer would have simple produced an English YouTube tutorial, this review might have been 5 stars instead of one. Receiver was returned.UPDATE: After many hours of working with this box, I've decided to keep it and continue to learn about it. I've found the settings I need and though slightly different than say an Amiko receiver, they are similar enough to where I believe I can get this receiver to work for me. It sure would be nice though if instructions, even online instructions were available. This receiver works like some other systems I've see, not showing what's available unless all components (dish, LNB, motor...etc) are actually connected to the receiver. I hate these types of systems because you don't know what's available unless "instructions" are included or you have the complete system set up. I may post my own YouTube tutorial if I can get this receiver working - hopefully sometime this week (11/11/2019).

This product exceeded my quality expectations. This is a must to have product if you like to watch channels across the world with a superb quality!

Great product as advertised. Received all the expected FTA channels. Great for IPTV if that is your desire.

it is functional because I am familiar with set ups since many years ago. This is a almost cut to the barebone box, it means to sell in Europe not in America: must input satellite's database manually; could not set time automatically; very limit function of the weather APP: very limit search for the youtube; the 2.4GH build in WIFI only ...! I do not see any difference of the picture quality between the H265 and H264.At least it is working if you willing to spent time to figure out how to made it works.

My dad had a FTA receiver that died which he was using to get RTP Portugal channel. Had 0 experience with what to replace it with. Read some reviews and decided to try this out. Removed the old receiver and plugged this one in and when I turned on the TV, RTP was already there playing on screen. Great, painless experience.

I bought this to use as a satellite receiver only, it's not connected to a network so I have not tested any of apps. This receiver replaced an existing receiver that had failed, so the dish was already aimed properly. I connected the receiver and had it do a 'blind scan', it quickly picked up all of the stations that I used with the old receiver. It works great. It came with an HDMI cable but no AAA batteries for the remote.

The v7 and v8 have better reception, it won't lock on fringe transponders like the other units. I do think it has better picture quality than the v7 and v8; it doesn't make up for me in comparison to reception.
