Discrete Choice Analysis: Theory and Application to Travel Demand (Transportation Studies) (Mit Press Series in Transportation Studies, 9)

A very good textbook for beginners
Has very detailed contents. So no need to worry if you are not that good at Math. It has a few examples about how to interpret your model outputs. It was a great help for my homework when I was taking a discrete choice modeling class. Actually, it was the designated text book we used for that class.

I think this book is very intersting for my job.
I like the chapters 4,5 and10. They are very usefuls for analizing surveys with qualitative answers questions. Also see interesting chapter 3 on theories of individual choice behavior.

Handy reference
Hard to read, but a classic and an excellent reference for DCA. I have used DCA many times in my research, and it helps to have this definitive guide at my fingertips.

Five Stars
Brilliant book, would never have completed my msc without it. Detailed, yet succinct and practical.

A classic book for graduate students in transportation engineering
Very good book by the top scientist in the field of transport demand modeling. Useful to have it in the library if you are a professional.

An overall good book that needs some update and expansion.
Two knowledgable authors gave in-depth treatments on the subject of DCM. The math is fairly easy to follow in most places. The biggest strength is a nice combination of theoretical and practical issues. The readers however should be benefitted from a new edition, which should include, among other things, extended exposures on ordered responses and grouped/aggregated data analyses with DCM. An introduction to the existing software and relevant issues should also be a plus.

A must have for any travel modeller.
