Integrated sensors and controls mean that the Poultry House Butler PHB from JOSTechnik can be set to open and close depending on: ambient brightness (dimmer switch) time (timer) with everyday and weekend programs and the possibility to set two closing and opening times per day a combination of twilight sensor and timer the use of a remote control (available optionally) integrated manual switch Non-dimmable 230V lighting functions as a lure. A heater or ventilator can be connected and used with the device through use of connection modules. The opening of the door can be prevented or delayed at low outside temperatures. For this purpose, the device has a temperature sensor or one may be added externally. All settings are created externally via the display. If an animal is underneath the door when it is closing, the motor automatically stops once it makes contact and the door opens again immediately. The closing operation is then automatically repeated. Unlike with other manufacturers, no animal has to free itself from the weight of the door or flap. The device can be used both outdoors (IP65) and indoors.
