Panama JackSafari Straw Hat - Lightweight, 3" Big Brim, Inner Elastic Sweatband, 3-Pleat Ribbon Hat Band

I love this hat. I was a Panama Jack fanatic in the 80’s and this brings it back. The look is (to me) retro cool and will work great poolside or at the beach. It seems sturdy, time will tell. It came well packaged. I’m really happy to get this. If you’re an old Panama Jack wearing beach bum like me, you will too.

I love this hat! It was a little loose on my head. I added a little eva foam inside and it fits fine. It doesn't stay on in my convertible car, so I added an under chin string.

loved the look and feel of the hat. however I wear a 7 1/2 hat which should fall with in the L/XL size range. i was expecting the hat to be fitted to smaller size with inserts supplied. i found the hat to be sized at middle of the range and is way to tight for the larger sizes, very uncomfortable to wear. materials are great, nice inside head band, liked the outer head band very classy, hat material very nice. also shipped in a custom box that supports the hat brim and crown. if you fall in lower range of size it will be great hat but larger size probably wont fit.

I measured 23-1/2" for head size. The L/XL hat says it's good for up to 24" but was uncomfortably snug. I asked the seller if it was likely to relax and they proudly said the fit would be solid for a long time - which is great, if it fit. Sending it back.

Quality of straw, excellent workmanship and a great fit.

Excellent quality, shipping was on time. But it is to small, sits on top my head. 10 years of military and wearing uniforms, wore a lot of hats over the years.. the label says L/XL but is noticeably smaller. Would need a 2XL or even 3XL, not sure which. This is really small.

Being a straw hat you just need to remember that as you wear and throw it around. The straw will crack if handled roughly.
