A Mystic Garden: Working with Soil, Attending to Soul
I loved this book, I will read it again and again. I am a new gardener and a single mom, so the trials of life and the responsibilities that come with it sometimes are overwhelming. When I started reading this book everything started to become clearer and made me relax. I could actually see myself out in the garden tending to my new plants. I have many new garden plans for next year and the years to come. Thank you for this book.

A Very Impressive, Beneficial Book for ALL!
An impressive book that expresses the importance of planning ahead, pacing oneself, and having patience with oneself in order to experience positive results from expectations.I appreciate the form it is written in, using seasons as an organizational tool to define what the book expresses. The author promotes peacefulness when her instructions are followed.I had read this book previous to ordering two copies; one as an immediate gift, and one to use as a loaner to as many people as possible.

Into the Garden with Gunilla
Gunilla Norris has been a favorite meditative author of mine ever since I discovered her "Being Home." Her Mystic Garden truly carries this further, in her metaphors of tilling the earth and living by the seasons, she helps her readers to find their own rhythm and to be patient and joyful. An inspiring, deeply comforting read!

No heavy reading
Gardeners who are by nature not avid readers will find this small simple book easy to plow through (no pun intended). I love how the book is set out - short reflections on one side and short poems on the other. Meditators could use the poems for deeper reflection. Good stuff!

a gem of depth and life acceptance
i love this book and all of Gunilla Norris's books. It reveals the depth of soul that the author knows so well coupled with engagement with nature very much in keeping with both faith traditions and mindfulness.

Not her best.
I've read other things by Gunilla Norris that grabbed me more -- like Being Home. I'm not much of a gardner so perhaps this wasn't the best book for me.
