A chair mat prevents damage to your floors over time. Not only can the wheels of a desk chair cause imprints on a carpet that are nearly impossible to get out, forever leaving an unsightly mark on that area, but they can also scratch up hardwood or laminate floors. The wheels themselves may not mark up the floors but, it's easy for something like a small stone or paper clip to get caught in them, and when the user drags the chair with the jagged objects attached, it causes scratches. This chair mat will prevent coffee and drinks spills on your floor.

Good mat to protect flooring
Heavy mat so far so good. The reason I gave 4 stars is bc when unrolling the mat I had to hurdle the darn thing to flip it to the other side so it wouldn't curl right back up again. Once flipped I laid something heavy on the corners so edges would be flat to the floor. I just purchased the other day for my loft area that has laminate flooring. My son uses the desk chair for hours of gaming and it started to damage a piece of the floor so I wanted to protect it before it got worse. So far so good. I'll probably remove the items on the corners today. If I have a problem with them staying flat I will update my review.

Just perfect!
This chair mat has exceeded my expectations! It came rolled up but it took less than an hour for it to completely flatten out. It blends in perfectly with the grey hues of my luxury vinyl plank floor. There was some minor rubbery smell at first but it has completely disappeared within 5 hours. I’m very happy with my purchase!

Great
Perfect for what I needed. I use it to cover the ground. I have birds in a room and I let them fly around. I leave these mats under their cage and poop comes right off when I’m cleaning up.

Perfect Size!
Great mat to protect our tile floors. Flattened out rather quickly and is quite thick too. Highly recommended!
