Mossy Oak Thumb Style Release

Ok, everyone is trashing this item, but it's not that bad. NO, it won't clip on to the d-loop and yes it is plastic. However, I have not problem with the quality or function. It works like it's suppose to, by clipping onto the string. Now, I admit that I don't like that because that puts a lot of pressure from a piece of metal pinching directly on my string in the same spot over and over. I'd just rather for the D-loop to fail than my string. For that reason I will only use it as a backup release in case my other one fails.But it's a nice little rugged release. I had not problems putting a nice group down range with it. Thump trigger is smooth and responsive. If It hooked to the D-loop I'd give it 5 stars. Similar full fist grip releases that clip on to the d-loop run well into the hundreds. Maybe it's just personal preference but i like the closed fist grip releases much better than the wrist wrap finger trigger. I'll try to stiffen my D-loop to make it work, but if not, I have it in my pack as a backup. Besides guys.......It's only 6 bucks! Can't beat that !

Keeps my hand in the same dpot. No swivel so my release doesn't feel lazy.

Release worked really good until I oiled it, now, it releases on it own, which means I can't use it anymore.

Feels bulky and cheap, other then that it works. It doesn't improve MY accuracy but I can see how it would. I'll stick to my wrist release or high end Thimb release.
