The set screw could have been larger!! Worried about it striping!

Arrived in 5 days along with the E. brake handle i had also ordered, very reasonable for free freight. I have installed 3 of these, mine being the first, and the most difficult. The only problem installing this is removing the OEM part. The instructions say keep pulling on the OEM shifter handle and it will come off, and they are correct if you pull HARD enough. The problem is a plastic pressure washer and a close OEM fitment that is only doing it's job. After removing the OEM shifter the job is almost over. The only thing left to do is install the DRAKE replacement. The DRAKE shifter allan head is made to tighten into a small concave depression on the OEM shifter shaft and it works once you find the sweet spot. Tighten down carefully on the allan head and you are finished. Of the 3 i installed i had no trouble with the top release button working and doing it's job on any of them. Hope this helped.
