I have had it running for about 4 days. It has trouble maintaining heat. It runs constantly, but the alarm has went off several times and the temperature has been up to 4 degrees C lower that the set temperature. I do have the unit indoors where the temperature doesn't get below 70 degrees F so maintaining 37.5 C inside the incubator should not be a problem.

Not recommended.
Not recommended. Make sure you understand this is a MANUAL one. From oversea.I have always and still own several incubators. This one is not user friendly as it looks. The manual is not helpful enough no picture or diagram. My big problem now is even I set temperature to the max, inside get only to 96 (F). And that not enough. The water surface I fill water is already twice as larger comparing to my previous incubators and is still reading at 45 !?

Indeed, temperature is off
Shipping is very fast, packaging is highly protected. Heard a lot of temperature display is not accurate, so, I bought 3 thermometers, put one in the center, two at opposite corners. After about 24 hours run, temperature displays were all lower than what shown on panel. I raised the panel setting to 39.5 (C), and let it stabilized again, I got center at 100 F, both corners show 98 F. Again, reset upper limit to be 40 (C), hours later, I got 99 F at both corners, center is about 102 F. Thought about thermometers may not accurate, I went to Walgreen's to get one for body temperature, and confirmed the thermometers measurements were correct. Likewise, unit display temperature is off about 3~5 degrees. Humidity seems accurate. The manual recommends to set unit to run at 37.4 (C) (~99.3 F), with the offset discovered, likely will fail you. If you should decide to buy, I suggest to do a measurement by yourself before you put it in use. To convert (C) to (F), use (1.8 * degree in C) + 32 = (degree in F). Any cell phone or computer can do this conversion.Update: First use, got 22/48, first timer.Update: Suggest to keep form packaging and use it to maintain the temperature. Wait one more week after first hatching. Pictures show one day old and 4 weeks after current.

Problematic in maintaining set temperature.
I've had this unit for about 1 month and I can't seem to get it to maintain a constant temperature. The AL alarm goes off every day. I reviewed the instructions and watched videos, but on my unit I'm not able to set the AL/AH (low and high temperature sets), per instructions. I have eggs incubating, but I'm not sure they will hatch.

Even one star is too much for this piece of useless thing. waste of money and disappointing after waiting 21 days . I put 30 eggs in it and only one hatched. Looks nice but useless. I have a small Brinsea . Works perfect . The only problem is that has place for 7 eggs. I need to buy a bigger one . I wish I have listened to the other reviews.
