Fits really good. If you want a tighter fit just tie it tighter. You can also add a sock I chose a beanie for mine in order to make my bun larger. But if you have a lot of hair it will naturally look larger. Ignore the bad reviews they just haven't figured it out

I am a Muslim and I bought this to change up my hijab style. My sisters in the other Abrahamic faith use tichels and I figured I buy a black one to try it out before I buy other colors.This head covering is wonderful! It's light, breathable, provides a stretch to fit any type of hair or head. The two loose ends are able to wrap your covered hair into a bun or it can cover your neck for a more Islamic look.A previous reviewer said that the tichel had a bad smoky odor, mine did not smell bad. It did have a pleasant, faint, fragrant smell but it was not overpowering nor bad.I am hoping it washes well.

Took me a minute to figure out how to get it tied tighter, but Google has all the advice.

I like that it is a soft scarf and that it does not pull on my edges because it is not heavy once you tie it but the hanging ends are nowhere as long or as substantial as shown in the picture so when you wrap it, the bun is much smaller like the size of a golf ball versus the nice hefty bun shown on the model. There is simply not enough material to produce that size of a bun. The picture has the ends hanging down almost past her waist but the one I received only hung to my breast. I am going to keep it only because it is soft and it provides the coverage without putting weight on my scalp which is what I needed but had I was really looking for something that looked like the ad especially at this price. For what I received it should have been half the price.

I love this pre-tied head scarf with the long tails. I'm not talented with tying scarves or creating a proper tichel, but this is fool proof. There's also a helpful video on youtube that shows different ways to tying it to get different looks, and they're easy enough for even me to achieve. Very happy I found this.

This is my first pre-tied tichel and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. I always struggled to tie regular scarves properly and would have to put what seemed like a dozen pins in them simply to keep them from falling off. I was always readjusting and having to re-tie throughout the day. I put on my Shari Rose tichel as soon as it arrived, and I just love it. There are so many easy ways to style it, and it stays put on my head. The striped fabric is really lovely and adds the needed touch of modernity I was looking for. I can’t wait to order more patterns. I don’t have a bun ball yet so I used a rolled-up pair of socks lol, but it still looks fantastic once I have the longer pieces wrapped around my sock bun. Love this product looks exactly like pic. The back has a stretchy, concealed band tha will help w the fit but it’s really about how you tie it! Awesome product and great fabric. I’ll attach a pic!

These are nice but are way over priced! I like this one, comfy and stretchy and just has a sewn-in band keeping it 'pre-tied' but I wouldn't buy again. It is basic jersey tshirt material and should be half this price.
