Great deal
A great price for an item well built of quality materials. I’ll be buying more for other instruments.

Works Well!
A bit different than my previous one, but incredibly functional and sturdy. Have had it on 6 months plus, no problems whatsoever

Great quality
It worked great with my ebony bass tailpiece which has the two holes for this to go into. I used fairly high tension strings and this tail gut held it without issue. Even after several weeks, I didn’t have to retune my strings more than the normal daily tuning prior to changing the tail-gut. This tail-gut is super stable and doesn’t stretch. Has a nice brass/gold color to it. Didn’t need any tools and it was quick and easy. How does it sound? Negligible difference than any other wire tail gut. It’s not worth upgrading if you already have a working setup, but if you’re looking for a replacement part as part of a fix or new tailpiece, this is great.I can’t think of anything that I don’t like about it.

Perfect for by 3/4 Upright Bass
Perfect fit for my 3/4 Upright Bass. I was able to adjust the nuts so the bolts weren't too long and sticking out (like in the pictures). Perfect solution to my problem. Thank you!

Good in concept. But I didn’t see the point.
I tried it, and liked it. But I really don’t see much advantage. It’s much pricier than the nylon ones. But it’s not something you need to change often (or ever). So the price isn’t a factor.I like that it’s so flexible yet won’t stretch; so, in theory, no settling-in required. But I really didn’t use it long enough to verify this.I did not notice any change in sound, which is really the only thing that matters. In the end I swapped it out for a thicker nylon one because this being so thin I worry it will wear or press a notch into the ebony tail pin.I’ll hold on to this in case I want to try it with a titanium tail pin the the future.

Works fine.
Just received it and installed it. No problems so far. I don't expect any problems. Works like it's supposed to.

Perfect
Worked perfectly to install new tailpiece on 4/4 violin. I did need to unscrew the nuts almost to the ends of the bolts to get correct length for the violin, so be aware this definitely would not fit a viola, but was perfect for my violin. High quality metal not plastic parts. Sounds good too. Fast shipping. Reasonable price. Would highly recommend this, and would absolutely buy again!
