BEST SHOES FOR FEMALE SERVERS HANDS DOWN
These are the best shoes for me as a server working 4 consecutive shifts every week and 7 days/week between two jobs. I previously purchased the Skechers non-slip shoes becasue the price was more reasonable and I also bought a pair of Clark's one day when I accidentally left my Skechers at home. The Clark's were more of a closed toe, slightly dressy style shoe so not a direct comparison. Clark's is known to be a very high quality, comfortable shoe and did fairly well for me but I still had a break in period and went home with sore feet a few time sin both the Skecher and Clark's.Note: I already wear new Balance shoes as my everyday athletic shoe and knew what my size is in this brand. However, when I wore them for my first full shift, there was zero break in time. Just wore them all weekend and my feet felt great. I didn't even think about it. these are by far the best of the best for anyone who can wear New Balance. My understanding is most women like them. you just have to find the right size for yuor foot. I wear a 8.5b and I need a wide toe box becasue the top of my feet are wider. I get no slip or looseness in the heel. Fairly lightweight shoe. The style is more classic athletic shoe to me, just in all black. The price on these fluctuated between $48-80. I suggest you put them in yuor Amazon cart, then click "save for later" so you can check the price at least once a week. I recently saw it drop to $50 and bought immediately. Already back up to $80 a couple days after they were delivered.

The sizing seems small
I ordered the size I normally do in shoes and sometimes the shoes are a bit big. These are smaller than normal. I bought them for restaurant work. They have good support but my toes have been aching for two days so far.

Finally a true WIDE shoe
I've purchased over a dozen shoes over the last few years for a coworker who is a custodian in my building. We had to have durability, comfort, and slip-resistance. I wish we had found these sooner, as they are one of the only brands where a wide is truly that! Compared to Skechers, they are lighter and offer more support and longevity. She wears a wide, so we ordered a wide, but on my second purchase, we got a medium fit. So.....keep this in mind when you order. In regular shoes, she wears a 10 wide, but we got 10.5 (to hopefully lessen the rubbing on a spot on her foot) on the second purchase. Hands (er....foot) down, these are the best shoes for those in the service field or any other career that needs comfort, durability, and non-slip. They don't look like uniform work shoes, which is a plus! I wish more colors with a darker sole were offered-navy, gray, etc.

Sizing changed
Sizing seems to have changed since last year. I bought a pair of these a year ago in 7 wide, which had more than enough space. They were the most comfortable work shoes I had ever bought. Wore them for a year, reorder a new pair same size. They were way too tight, return, order 7.5 wide, still too tight, return, buy 7.5 extra wide. At this point I couldn’t wait any longer to replace my shoes and wore them regardless, but they are somehow still too tight (particularly around my pinky toe) which is causing me horrible pain during and after work. I haven’t gained any weight during the time, my feet fit all of my other shoes just fine. I guess I’ll just have to call it a loss and find a different shoe.

Uncomfortable
Granted, New Balance usually does run big. This wide is super wide, just an uncomfortable fit. The material inside is stiff, scrapped against the sides and top of my feet through my compression socks. It's a good looking shoe. However, even the non slip soles collects tiny rocks all in the crevices.

Much needed!
I work in the Restaurant Industry FOH and it’s PERFECT! Go get yourself one or two if you can afford it.

Reduced leg nerve pain and foot fatigue and pain.
I'm glad I purchased these. They are really nice for being on your feet at work for an hours. They have good slip resistance. And they have already dramatically reduced the nerve pain in my legs and the fatigue and pain in my feet and legs after just a few days. Because of the extra wide width they do feel bulky at first but I'm already getting used to that and it feels much better not being so tight on my feet as other shoes. They are definitely worth it and feel like they will last a long time.
