Best budget throwing knives
First of all i wouldnt necessarily recommend these to a beginn due to the size and weight, but that doesnt mean they are bad!! I would just recommend starting with something more like 7 inches in length just to get used to throwning in general.I have been throwing for a few years now and I've never wanted to drop more than 20$ on a single knife because they would always end up breaking. They were never thick enough, or they would have holes in the center of the blade that would shatter (Smith and Wesson throwing knives...don't buy those). These knives have an amazing design they are very thick which helps prevent fractures and they have a small bladed tip which makes the safer than some full bladed throwing knives (most people just file down those full blades anyway). These work well for any type of throw and work very well for learning the no spin throw. Honestly these are the best knives on Amazon for the price. They are all you really need as a thrower...a large price of beveled metal with a point. The only bad thing I have to say is that the sheathe doesn't hold the knives in place, so if you hold them upside down they will fall out completely, I would recommend making your own fastener.Tldr:Pros: -great weight -made of a thick piece of metal (won't shatter as easily) -the minimalist point is safer and is all you need for throwingCons: -sheathe doesn't hold the knives securely so be careful when storing them -these are necessarily beginner knives, but if you're confident in your throwing go for it!

A reliable beginner set with good weight
For the price, it feels like cheating. I could buy 5 sets of these a year no problem. I’ve been throwing the one set I got for about a month now and I am extremely impressed. They have good weight and balance. You can do it all with this blade shape. Classic rotational throwing. No spin throwing is possible, and a very fun technique. Also the beginner tip is perfect to practice flipping the knife in the air and spinning it in your hand without accidentally cutting yourself.Perfectly balanced. However they are not all exactly the same shape, one was shaped with a little more metal on the handle. This isn’t noticeable at all while throwing, just mentionable. They are not the most durable knives. They will nick each other and make small dents when they hit each other at a good speed. But at this price, I’ve decided not to worry about it. The metal being softer isn’t all bad. Any nicks that are made can be filed smooth with a pocket tool file.In conclusion, I could spend some time TRYING to break them and get three more sets to replace them without any regrets. Just a real fantastic purchase for a beginner. Lots of blade space to grab without sharp spots. Good for building confidence in your grips and experimenting.

Great for beginners and for the price
Right off the bat I gotta say I've been using these for a couple months and they're amazing for the price and for beginners but... The quality itself yes is amazing for 20$ but mine are slightly uneven but also get beat up and roll and nick really bad, I usually hit my knives while throwing and with the design itself it throws kind of wonky whether it sticks horizontal or vertical (i throw no spin). Speaking of the design I'm not a huge nerd when it comes to aerodynamics but as I said before, if you throw no spin do not use plank targets, use the bottom of a thick log or something because they will not land vertical all the time and will land sideways, it will stick if you throw hard enough but these knives love to bounce so don't do that. I didn't mind the blade getting nicked here and there which really didn't effect throwing it a lot till I started getting nicks on where I hold it and it's just really agitating now. Another thing as well is that it goes hand in hand with the nicks but the steel is really soft and they bounce super easily and make a huge loud noise if you hit something solid and especially if you hit the knives, this isn't as big because you're def not gonna snap it but they almost wobble sometimes and I've had a few close calls when they would bounce back really far. I'm not leaving a bad review because they've worked amazing for months with 20$ but if you're much more serious about throwing I'd maybe look for alternatives, granted buying is really hard because it's either 20$ or 300$, I would recommend these knives to any new throwers and casuals but keep in mind if you want to get more serious, look for newer knives or make your own. Overall a good throwing knife.

Amazing quality
I’ve been using these throwing knives for 6 years now and they’re still going strong. The have some dents and dings but that’s to be expected. Very all balanced and hefty. Good beginner throwing knives.

To my fellow beginners: BUY THESE!
Okay, let me preface by saying I only started throwing in February (2022). Out of all budget knives on the market, these are the best I've found. Hands down. They are a great length and weight. They are excellent for all styles of throwing: rotational, non-rotational + no-reload. I have two sets so far and plan to buy more for rapid throws. I just absolutely love them and you cannot beat the price!Things to keep in mind:-They rebound a bit. Please keep your eyes on the knives at all times. Wear proper footwear (ie. NOT open toes shoes). Reduce the power of your throws when you're 2-3m from the target. A lot of power is not necessary from that distance. Less power = less rebound velocity.-They will burr especially if you're doing tight groupings. Easy fix: inspect and file them as necessary after each day of throwing.-If the center of your target is chewed up like mine, these will tend to stick, then fall out due to the narrow tips. Start aiming for the least chewed up parts of your target. For me, that's the corners. (See pic: no-spin from 3 meters).-My preferred grips with these knives: Military style for half-spins, pinch grip for full spin, and the traditional no-spin grip (index finger on the spine).-Practice with these (balanced) knives before buying handle heavy or blade heavy (unbalanced) knives. Get the basics down. Then when you get more specialized knives, the tweaks you need to make won't feel so daunting.Happy throwing! 😁

Great set for beginners
I have been throwing for years and would highly recommend this set for anyone wanting to get into knife throwing. They have a good length, weight, balance and shape which makes them suitable for any style of throwing. I prefer no spin and these have a nice weight (225 grams) and feel, plus the rounded end helps control rotation. I did have one tip break and some slight bending ( they are simply too thin at the tip) but this can be fixed by re-filing the tip or hammering the tip straight against a flat surface ( DO NOT TRY TO BEND BACK). I would recommend this set if you want to experiment with different styles or are just starting out, overall pretty good for the price.

A definite budget beginner knife
The media could not be loaded. Nice and heavy blades, great for a beginner to learn on. These come sharpened PROPERLY for throwing knives, just the tip, hee hee.feel VERY good to throw, with a very good stick, even into side grain. Very well balanced.a couple barely noticeable blemishes in the steel, nothing worth regarding as a reason not to buy these.Edit: after having a few good runs more with them to really put them thru.First, great for spins. Full spin, 1-1/2, half all fly flawlessly.Second. No spin... I tried but that bulge certainly makes compensating impractical. I barely know how to no spin and flung two out of three of my featherweight knives right after trying with these. I could see them overturning despite how much I adjusted my throw. Flat sides would be infinitely better, a few reviewers have diy-d it.But I'll stand by it, beginner knives, amazing on a budget. They do fly nicely and with some tuning on a second version, maybe, could make these top budget knives for anyone.

Need to be grinded down for no spin
They work ok but the wave in the middle is really dumb and hinders no spin technique, not to mention they are balanced too much in the middle instead of being handle heavy as it should be. Still the best option on amazon for non shit throwing knives but if you have a grinder and a file I highly recommend you chop off that wave like some other guy did in the reviews. I already started working on them but it's hard when you never worked metal before and don't have the tools. Bottom line is you won't regret buying them but the design itself should be more in line with the high end needle style.

Heavy duty fun!
These great throwing knives are nicely balanced and come with a well made reinforced nylon sheath. There is nothing to break on these knives so I expect years of fun throwing with them. They seem to be able to take a hit without bothering them too much because only the tips are sharpened and susceptible to damage. The knives are center balanced meaning they spin nicely as opposed to the blade heavy style which work better for no-spin techniques. No doubt better knife throwers than me could throw them either way.Update on knives: I have sharpened the tips occasionally and taken off some burrs caused by knives hitting each other on the target board. For the most part they have stood up well. Much to my surprise however, I did have one knife break through the middle probably due to a flaw in the metal. The metallurgy did not allow welding the pieces back together, but since I bought two sets anyway, I still have five knives going strong almost a year after purchasing them. So, I still rate these knives very highly on their cost/benefit ratio!

Heavy throwers
Love these knives , for half flip and no flip peoples comment s that use this method seem to grind the wave out from center. I'm sure this does work great if u are use to straight spike throwers slightly heavier in handle. For me they are great as is
