Magnavox MM440 - Big BANG for the buck!
I can't believe considering the price, the Magnavox MM440 is FANTASTIC! It is one more 'Bad Momma Jamma'. The sound is rich and full with plenty of bass. It sounds as good as higher end systems costing much much more. I'm and older geezer that loves to rock-and-roll. This unit fits the bill. Now I can Jam on the go.If you come across this review, I HIGHLY recommend your purchasing this unit. It will not break the bank, and most of all, it will NOT disappoint.

Great sound
Great sound from compact unit, replacing an 80’s big rack system with large speakers and mega sound. This small size has great sound and blue tooth makes it a nice fit to play streaming music.

Too much bass, not enough treble
This unit might be okay for you if you like your music with plenty of bass. For me, it wasn't to my liking, and I sent it back. For the approximately 140 dollar price (USD) that I paid for it, I wasn't expecting super hifi, but I was hoping for somewhat better sound quality. It just doesn't play the highs, or treble, well enough. There's no built-in equalizer that I could have used to boost the treble. Thus, for me, much of my music just sounds too muddy at low volume levels. When I turned it up, it's a bit better, but still too bassy for my tastes. It's also a bit better if I play music from my HIFI Walker H2 MP3 player (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072C4YPCG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1). That device has an equalizer with built-in presets for various genres of music such as rock, jazz, classical, pop, etc. That was almost enough to make me decide to keep this. It was close, but not quite good enough. Plus, if I play from a CD or from a USB stick, that equalizer is not available to me. It's just too muddy sounding for my tastes. This one hung in the balance for about a week until I decided to return it. I don't think it's a worthless piece of junk, but I just wasn't quite happy with it, the main reason being the sound quality. People who like a very bass-driven sound without that much treble will probably like this okay. For me, the difficulty in getting enough treble was a deal breaker. I also didn't much care for its remote. I found it too small, and not responsive enough. I had to hold it up at a height even to the unit, and then it worked.I've therefore decided to ship this thing back for a refund. On the plus side, I did find the quality of the construction to be decent enough. If the tweeters had done a better job with the treble, or if I could have boosted the treble with an equalizer, I probably would have kept this.I think someone might like this unit under the following conditions:1. They like a lot of bass (particularly in forms of music such as rock or hip-hop).2. They don't normally play music with much treble.3. They play music somewhat loud (though not necessarily window-shaking loud).4. They do not need low-volume music in which you can still hear the highs.5. They have basic sound quality expectations. This is not for someone with the following expectations:1. They listen to music with ample treble.2. They want to be able to adjust the tones via an equalizer.3. They need low-volume background music that still lets you hear the highs.4. They are fans of classical music.5. They have very high-sound-quality expectations.Even though I didn't hate everything about this device, I disliked it enough to send it back. Once I get my money credited back to me, I plan on adding about a hundred dollars to that, and will buy a higher-end unit. I do think some people will be happy with this. It's just not for everyone, and not for me.

A Complete Waste Of Money
1/5- Stars. I very rarely write negative reviews on Amazon. I think I posted maybe only 1-2 negative rewiews on Amazon in nearly 10 Years. But this stereo is a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY!!! Most of the functions of the stereo don't work, the CD player does not work, you cant change the radio stations, you can't change the Equalizer for the music, the remote is wayyy too small & does not operate unless you're up close. Please (Trust) (Me), this stereo "looks" good, but its not worth the money. Please save yourself from wasting your hard earned money by purchasing this thing.

Happy with the product so far.
Well by the size of the box it came in I thought wow I misjudged the picture. Then the big box had a smaller box then the box itself. Whew ok it's normal size. Lol. But the remote, well it's the tiniest little thing I've ever seen, and light as a feather. Once I figured it all out I put in a cd and I'm happy with the sound of it, haven't listened to the radio part yet till I get the antenna set up. It makes my little radio seem tiny in comparison. Overall I like the system and it got here quicker than I expected since it just shipped yesterday. Very impressive
