SperryWomen's Saltwater Boots

These are fake. I got on the sperry website and ordered the same boot and compared the leather, tags, tread, etc. and immediately sent these back. Get the same boot from sperry for the same price and free shipping too.

My wife loves these rain boots. They hold up great in the fall/winter as well. She can wear comfy wool socks & be fine if it’s freezing outside & they’re not too warm in the spring/fall rain.These boots have taken a beating in Baltimore with excessive salt & general dirtiness of the city. But they’ve held up great!The grip on the bottom is amazing. Many buildings have granite or marble as sidewalks- they’re a death trap without the proper shoes when it’s wet.They have a 0.5” ‘heel’, which makes them look a little more feminine. The blue rubber bumper is not as shiny any longer, but that’s as expected.They’ve held up for 1 year (see pics). They have a zipper on the side if you don’t want to undo the laces (they look cute how they arrive).The arch support is really nice, from what I hear. My wife has high arches (size 9, women’s).At the wife’s point, they’re 4” on the outside, subtract 0.75” for inner dimension), and the overall length is 10.75”.

Pair 1 arrived very comfortable in my normal size 6.5 with room for thick socks. Win! Then I noticed the rubber sole was lower on RIGHT foot than other and spouse agreed they looked flawed. For the price I was not willing to keep. Ordered replacements. Pair 2 arrived with one side of the RIGHT upper sewn crooked leaving the front horizontal lace sitting diagonal no matter how tight you made them. There was also white filling showing on that boot and the quilting on the base of the tongue was completely different then the other boot. With 2 damaged RIGHT boots I ordered a 3rd pair which arrived with RIGHT again defective. This time the black nylon was not sewn closed on front of boot so white filling coming out again. And there were two very noticeable dimples in the rubber. I am VERY ANNOYED that I had to waste so much time on three pairs of defective boots.

I ordered 3 different sizes of the same boot for sizing purposes. Two of the three were fake and one was real. The fake pairs were like half an inch shorter than the real pair. I also noticed the tag differences, the differences in the sperry embossing on the bottom, the leather on the fakes is darker, the navy part of the boot is glossier on the fakes and the actual lines on the navy part are different on the fakes as well...less spaced out. As previous reviews stated...not something I would’ve noticed if I hadn’t been looking out for it.Provided you get a real boot, they are awesome! Very cute and comfortable. I plan to use them anytime I want a bit more protection than what I’d get from a sneaker but less than what I’d get from my actual winter boots.Sizing is strange. I’m normally a 9 in boots and an 8.5 in sneakers. I ended up keeping an 8 wide in these.

These shoes are very comfortable and look great. Some of the qualities I'd like to make clear are:1. These boots fit exactly to size. I'm a size 5 and reading some of the reviews, which mentioned that these run small, I got these shoes a size large and unfortunately found them to be a size bigger when worn. But because I did not want to go into the hassle of returning and waiting for the correct size (which would've taken a week or two and also because I needed warm boots due to the weather) I kept the Sperry's and ordered a pair of thick sheepskin insoles which thankfully did the trick. They wear perfectly now.2. These are not meant to be winter boots! That is for deep winter climate like below 30 degrees Fahrenheit. They are insulated with a micro fleece, which makes them warm but your feet will not be complete warm if the weather is under 30 degrees. I live in NY where we're going through a cold spell these days, and without my cozy fleece foot liners my feet would've been cold. If you want real cold weather boots go with Sorel's winter boot line or something equivalent.3. These boots are a little heavier than I'd thought they would be, not uncomfortably so, though. But definitely not light!4. Yes, they're water proof and I assume snow proof but these do not have a firm grip on ice, as I have noticed they don't have traction on slippery surfaces (like ice or a shiny wet surface) even though they do have good traction on dry and uneven surfaces.4. Very good quality shoe, well made and if you are like me, who keeps things well- then these will last an extremely long time which I'm looking forward to.5. Overall very attractive, good quality, waterproof shoe for autumn, cold rain and mild winter but NOT for very cold weather and the sheepskin insert helps in making it a much warmer shoe.6. I would've definitely preferred to buy it half a size or even a size smaller. FITS TRUE TO SIZE. I have slender, size 5 feet, but if I had flat or wide size 5 feet then the size 6 would've been perfect. I imagine this sizing will help those figuring out the right sizing for their feet in the future. Over all satisfied.

I bought these boats for a trip to Alaska. I wore them on rainy days walking around, but also on a fishing boat that unfortunately ended up being very rainy! My feet were warm and dry all day. I wore a pair of wool socks and rain gear (a must if fishing on the seas!) I also add my own inserts because of my high arches. I am a 7.5 shoe size and they fit perfectly!

The shoes look great. Really lovely style. But the size sent was the USA 5.5 not U.K. 5.5 as shown. Which meant they ended up being a U.K. 3.5. Super tiny (but very cute). Obviously I had to return.

Ordered these as a gift and the sizing was listed in UK sizes, I ordered a 7. When my order arrived I had been sent a US 7. I was advised to return and re-order but second item was exactly the same. Very disappointed.

Great quality, really cute

I love these boots i live in Montreal and they are perfect for city slush and salty streets and best of all very comfortable they have a cushion soal. These are a must have. I just slip them on and off very easily. I wear a size 8 winter boots so i got the 8 and it fit perfectly. I have space for wool sox but can also only wear regular sox. Also they are not the fake ones.

An sich schicker Stiefel. Mal was anderes halt. Nichts für wirklich kalte Tage und extrem rutschig, wenn die Sohle nass ist und der Untergrund (Fliesen o.ä.) trocken sind. Auch absolut nichts bei Glätte, Frost. Dann muss man wirklich aufpassen. Neu haben sie sehr gut gepasst, nach 4 Wochen musste ich eine dicke Foam Einlegesohle reinlegen, weil der Stiefel derart geweitet ist, dass es zu groß wurde.
