Revive your old memories!
The media could not be loaded. Bought it at lightening deal at Rs.5999/- This is a basic, but an awesome turntable. I really love the crispy sound quality it produces. Its got three speed settings 33 1/2, 45 and 78 rpm. It definitely plays 78 rpm records unlike some reviews here...with gorgeous output (In my opinion). The company says they provide an additional cartridge for 78 rpm LP's for a better audio output than the one provided. They provide a conversion cd, which enables us to connect it to PC and transfer the songs from old vinyls via the software. There's also another model with speakers in it. If you have the budget go for that one. No need to get into the hassle of connecting to external speakers.Cons: Not much, but to name a few...1) Doesn't have a 3.5mm audio output jack. You'll need a 3.5 mm Stereo Female to RCA (2) Stereo Audio Cable. (Available on amazon). I'musing 'AV CONNECT' brand.2) Additional vinyl cartridge are very expensive here on amazon (Approx 2300 Rs. for a pair). Couldn't find the 78 rpm cartridge on amazon.3) Its imported, so no warranty.Till date, I haven't encountered any issue with it. Happy with it!

Perfect Turntable I was looking for
I have a large collection of old vinyl records and was looking for a reasonably priced good quality turntable to listen to them. I received this product today, and instantly liked it. It is good looking, and feels like a good quality product. It plays my Vinyl LPs like a charm, with good sound. The power adapter accepts 220 volts, but has a European style pin, hence I needed a socket adapter for it. It does not have built-in speakers, so you need to feed its audio output to an external system. I used a powered speaker, but you can also use your home theater, TV, or any other sound system you have at home that accepts an aux input. Overall, I would highly recommend it for purchase.

Sleek design is beautiful. Digitization is very good
Sleek design is beautiful. Digitization is very good. On-Off switch given in the rear is difficult to operate. Auto-stop is not calibrated properly. Audio tape conversion is desirable.

Great VFM
The Ion Classic LP Wood Vinyl Record Player is a great VFM turntable. It has one nifty feature wherein one can use a manual level to raise or lower the arm - if one is a little patient to use this feature, you can prevent scratches on any record. The quality of playback is not meant for an audiophile. It does the job but there is a noticeable loss of bass. There are other reviewers/users who have commented on an increase of sound quality when a better quality needle is used. The convert to mp3 feature is good and is easy to use. I have been using the same on records which have been in storage for upto 40 years and are not really in the best condition. It still plays them without any skipping or getting stuck. As most of the other users have mentioned, you need a different adapter to play 78 rpm vinyls. This is a expensive - almost half the cost of the record player. I recommend buying the needle in the US and asking a friend or relative to bring it back. Also note that the same player is available on amazon.com for almost half the price, so it would be a lot more value for money if you can buy and get it shipped to a US address.

Music enthusiats, just go for it, if you want to start exploring vinyl world with entry level turntable.
Quite good, plays bit more bright if you use exuby diamond needle (suggested in another review), does not require phono pre-amp, but might have to up the volume for bigger sized room. Noticed that even though classic does not have built-in speaker, you can clearly hear the music without connecting it to external speakers (may use card board box to seal this sound if you find it irritating). Have given 5/5 as this is my first (entry level) turntable and it sounds quite good on my Bose LS20. I played Miles Davis-Kind of blue totally 3 times (both sides) within a day and we all enjoyed

But replacement product was also equally bad. In turn ended up returning the product
A lot of hissing sound. I got the product replaced in hope of having received a faulty product. But replacement product was also equally bad. In turn ended up returning the product.

Good product at a good price
The media could not be loaded. I am using this for over a year now and it is quite good for those who are new into the world of vinyl records. It supports 33.3, 45 and 78 RPM so you can play pretty much every record you will find. USB connectivity and the software included in the box helps you rip any vinyl record into digital format with ease. Go for these if you are on a budget else go for a Audio Technica AT-LP120 which is an all time favourite in the turntable community.
