I never used one like this and I'm 61 years old. I bought it and I love it. It is sooo slick at setting the gap, especially with with these new iridium contact points.

Nice tool, well built..comes with feeler gage. Works great to close the gap but no tool is provided for opening the gap.

I wanted an inexpensive tool to gap my Iridium & small engine spark plugs , and this tool works as intended to get the job done.

Does what is says . Just use gauge one smaller then u want and it will be correct

I gapped 4 plugs from .032 to .028. (Iridium's not supposed to adjust gap). Carefully done it worked great. Car Idles much better. This tool works as advertised.

Simple and easy to use, very accurate

This is a very solid tool and the advertised manufacturer specifications are accurate. That is, it works perfectly on the longer porcelain neck spark plugs like those in my Craftsman tractor. However, it can't be used to gap short neck spark plugs which are in more than half of my small engines. Due to the limited functionality, at least for my purposes, I returned it. I recommend that you check your spark plug porcelain neck sizes and compare that to the advertised manufacturers specifications before placing your order to ensure it meets your needs.
